Literature Circle...First Impressions
So, you've just read a tidbit of your book so far, but as they say, first impressions are everything. What are your first impressions of the novel you are reading? In your comment, please post the name of the novel and don't forget to add your first name at the bottom so I know who wrote it. :)

The Entrance of King George
King George loves fanfare. He sent a trumpet player to play "Taps" for us, and they also gave cues as to when to fight with "Charge!" Here is a brief video of his entrance along with the British forces, which was soon interrupted by the beginning of the war - a little too early, which is where I come in to ask them to stop. :)
Rabelsburg Victory!
It was a fight of epic proportions - well in the mind of the 5th graders at least. They were determined to beat King George and the British and free us of his rule forever. Since he didn't like our Declaration of Independence, we had to earn it. Here is a picture of the victorious Rabelsburg colonists right after the battle concluded. We did had a little help from the French (the parents), whose help broke the 1-1 tie in the final minutes of the war. Long live Rabelsburg, Pennsylvania!
