We're baaack! I hope that you all had a GREAT time at Carolina Creek! You might have faced challenging things, overcome obstacles, and grown closer to friends while there. Please let me know what you learned about yourself. For example, from going to camp, I've learned that I can conquer my fear of heights and shouldn't overanaylze (think about it too much). What about you?

Hey guys,
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know how you liked Carolina Creek. Just remember that the assignment, though, is not to tell me how much you loved it, funny stories, or what you did, but WHAT YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF. Think of the keynotes and experiences you had. - Miss Rabel
I had a blast at Carolina Creek. The best part was the zipline and the lake. I learned that if I put my mind to something anything is possible.

ReplyDeleteI liked thezip line and the power pole jordan
ReplyDeleteCarolina Creek was such a great experience for me and and all of the campers. I learned about teamwork, how to work with and be supportive of the team. I learned more about Jesus and the Samaritan woman, and Jesus told her if she beleived in him she would not be thirsty any more. She thought he was talking about water but he was talking about himself and not drinking water.
ReplyDeleteone thing i learned about myself is that if you just try something you might actually like it. to me that was the rockwall. carolina creek was an amazing experience.

I learned that sometimes I think that things would be easier alone when teamwork is really the right answer. Meredith
ReplyDeleteI learned that trying your best can really pay off. And,during keynote I learned that you don't have to just sit and watch you can interact.

ReplyDeleteI learn that every thing can interact with God, like the zip-line you had to trust in him that he was with you always.

ReplyDeleteThe Bible studies changed me because I have never heard anyone preach it like KO. I also have learned the Bible in a new way and it opens my heart to learn more about Jesus every day.
ReplyDeleteI also lost my fear of heights. How I think of it is just do it, don't look down and don't think about it.
Meghan
I had a great time at camp i learned that I'm not a fan of heights (but hope to come out of that fear over the summer). I loved bible with KO, he did a great job teaching my peers and I. I also learned that teamwork is important if you want to be successful. ~ Adam M.
